Investigation of Corruption at Indonesia Embassy Supported

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Attorney General?s Office (AGO) said the ministry of foreign affairs (Deplu) supports investigations of the alleged misappropriation of the budget of the Indonesian embassy in Thailand, which had caused a loss of Rp 2 billion.
Deplu supports the investigation of the case at the Indonesian embassy in Thailand, investigation director at the AGO Arminsyah said in Jakarta Friday.
Earlier, the AGO had already declared two suspects in the case. Arminsyah said that AGO will send a team to Thailand after the Idul Fitri holidays.
He said that the case was linked to the use of the budget of the Indonesian embassy during the President?s visit to attend the summit in Thailand last year.
